General Terms and Conditions of Business

1. Order

All orders are binding. In your own interest, please make sure that the delivery address and telephone number given to us is correct and complete. We cannot accept any liability for any delays or non-delivery due to incorrect or incomplete addresses. We reserve the right to change the specifications of the products without prior notice.

2. Prices

The item prices in the shop are shown in Swiss francs (CHF).

3. Payment

You can pay most conveniently with the VISA and MasterCard credit cards (in Switzerland and internationally) or with TWINT (only in Switzerland).

4. Delivery, shipping and packaging costs

The ordered goods are usually sent by post. Orders are placed for shipping as follows:

  • Orders placed before 12:00 p.m. are usually delivered within 2-4 working days
  • Express orders by 12:00 p.m. are usually dispatched on the same day
    Exceptions are special agreements, e.g. collective deliveries or collections after telephone agreement.

Our delivery times are guidelines and apply from the moment the order is clear. It is important that a valid/correct delivery address is provided.

Within Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein we charge you a flat rate of CHF 9.50 for shipping costs. For orders that have to be delivered the following day or for express orders, shipping costs of CHF 25.00 will be charged in any case. For bulky goods shipments or deliveries from 1 pallet, the transport will be charged at cost. For any shipments abroad, transport and customs will be charged at cost.

Our delivery times are guidelines and apply from the moment the order is clear. It is important that a valid/correct shipping address is provided.

The shipping costs are displayed in the ordering process under "Shipping method" and are measured according to weight.

5. Returns / credit notes / damaged articles

Returns must be made within 14 days in the original undamaged packaging. Refunds will only be given for products in an undamaged, unused condition. If the returned product is not in fully resalable condition or the packaging is damaged, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item or deduct up to 20% of the original sales price from the refund. None of the above conditions affect your statutory rights in the event of damaged items.

Send the item to the address below and include a note stating your name, order number, reason for return and the action you wish to take.

6. Delivery damage

If the goods have been damaged during shipping, please inform us within 48 hours of receipt of the goods by e-mail or telephone. Damaged or defective articles can be exchanged free of charge. Claims for damages due to incorrect illustrations, texts and prices or late delivery are excluded. Errors, price changes or small modifications of the products are reserved.

7. Data protection

Stadler Rail is committed to processing customer data in compliance with data protection regulations. Further information on how customer data is handled can be found in the separate privacy policy. The privacy policy is an integral part of these general terms and conditions.

Credit card payments are encrypted using proven SSL technology and processed via Saferpay (Worldline). Worldline processes your personal data on our behalf in connection with the payments we have commissioned. Your data is used exclusively by Worldline for processing your payment instruction and is not shared with any third parties, except for the financial institutions responsible for the respective payment method. "Worldline" or "Saferpay" may appear on your credit card or bank statement in connection with your order from us.

8. Retention of title

The delivered articles remain our property until full payment has been received.
